I method to beckon your dreaming body while dreaming is to intend it by thinking about it whenever some of concern happens while in your normal wakeing hours.
Whenever something happens that I feel that I'm in danger by people or bad wheather or anything that is urgent I intend my dreaming attention or energy body as my initial response besides acting in my normal waken state.
By doing this you can condition or set up the triggering of your dreaming attention while dreaming by intending it or thinking it, and when you have a ordinary dream and something of concern happens you can snap into your dreaming body by conditioning.
It works for me personally, when something happens in my dreams that I feel that I'm in danger I enter my dreaming body and escape the entrapment.
It always has worked for me since I've been dreaming for over 26 years.
Try this for an exercise- whenever you see someone threatening on the street in public in your normal wakeing hours shut off your internal dioalog and focus your intent on reaching your dreaming body or finding your hands in your dreams, and keep doing that until it becomes second nature and soon when you are in a dream and you see someone threatening- "Bingo" you will reach your dreaming attention and then you can go over to the misc figure or person and slap the living **** out of them in your dreams.
Its worth a try.
