In agreement with everything glance said here trinsic, I especially like the part about me, very nice - . I might add a few things though if that's ok glance.
I consider myself a seer, not a dreamer, although I can dream, and still do, it really is of no concern to me one way or the other. It is important to see that dreaming is for dreamers, as stalking is for stalkers, and often stalkers it seems get caught up in the energetic currents of the easily graspable thing called "dreaming". I considered myself a dreamer, for the longest time during the seventies and eighties and into the nineties, because of my ability to dream as a child up until puberty. No need for inorganics, i just went into dreaming and did whatever i set my intent to,this i see to have been astral by the definitions, that I use.
Now I have achieved the much touted gates of dreaming and so on but, because I have in my memory what dreaming was for me as a child, none of that amounted to anything of sustainable value energetically speaking, to me at least. Then I took a closer look at what DJ said about dreaming, inorganic's and everything and put my seeing to work.
This part is not meant to offend or discredit dreamers, but it is an impartial view of why someone has difficulty dreaming and that is trinsic's title. This would be my seeing of the situation, there are energy producing entities in dreaming, and even the best of us are novices when we go to the realm that "dreaming" occurs in. Much like the first attention in this realm can be interfered with, our second attention is also out of it's league in that realm. So how are we being played? Every so often we are enabled to bring our attention of this world and align it with what our energy body is up to, but just enough to think we are making progress.
Is this only being done to stalkers? Dreamers may be another thing altogether. So difficulty in dreaming, may be a reflection, of a variety of things. I suggest that the incremental movement of the assemblage point, may be the energetic makeup of the journey of many people expecting results from dreaming, and find themselves dealing with this world instead.
As far as groups being a benefit, I only know of a few in todays world and they are not revealing very much, and are acting a lot like stalkers
Support is a great thing, groups though create expectations, that do hinder individual expression, and fluidity, but that is not something that cannot be overcome if all are sincere, and one should ask, how would they be on their own, so it is not a crutch for the needy.
In summary there are a few paths to the totality of the self, and as glance says, the best guide is connecting to your inner seer, after all we are just emanations at large.
