Do you ever wonder about your dreaming body? Maybe you wonder if it is fully formed, or if you have one at all. I have been thinking about this subject
lately, mostly because I still struggle with my dreaming, and if I have luck with becoming aware in my dreaming it often seems to come out of nowhere, and then
becomes elusive again. Sound familiar? I will try to share with you my own personal observations about this, they are just my own ideas and I don't claim
them as any sort of concrete knowlege - just my musings.
I feel that my dreaming body is fully formed, and I base this on my ability to change dreaming scenes with ease and the fact that when I become lucid I have a
sort of automatic knowlege, which mirrors my intent for my dreaming and goes a step further in how to achieve this intent. These dreams are rare for me, and
instead of getting frustrated about them being so few and far between, I just wait, I know it will get better. In the meantime, it has prompted me to sort of
map out what I think is happening. First off, I feel that I am disconnected from my dreaming body, and that it's my purpose to connect to "her".
I picture "her"(my dreaming body or double) as an upward pointing triangle floating above my head, a thin line runs down to me (the tonal), which I
picture as a downward pointing triangle. Some refer to this as the Higher Mind/Lower Mind. This leaves me with only one thing to do, get whatever is in the
way of my connection with my dreaming body out of the way, foster the strenghtening of this connection, and merge these two sides of myself. Well, I realize
that that is really three things to do, but you get my point, right?
I believe the mystics refer to this connection between the higher mind and lower mind as the Antahkarana. What I am intending to do is strenthen this
connection to the best of my ability. I am positive that I will be guided to do exactly what is necessary to acomplish this. I know that inner silence will
play an important part of this. When I think of my dreaming body, I get the feeling that by cutting off my dreaming at this particular point is the most
pragmatic move she could make. She holds all the cards (actually she always did, I just didn't know it), and now at this jucture in my life, I must
surrender and play her game.
What I most wish to accomplish is to merge these two triangles together, I believe you might be familiar with this symbol:
