I missed this post you made a long time ago, but you start with the
inaccurate premises: a dreaming body is constructed by you not created
for you, existing in a universe outside of your reach. Thus you cannot
see it separated from yourself, may see yourself looking differently yet
still know it is you and that will mean that you see yourself in
another existence, in my opinion you should not unite with something
outside of you because it is not you is a living being a dead being and
both are harmful for your integrity. A separation between your lower
mind that i must see as the undesired parts of your personality
reflected upon meeting others and the higher personality that you
reflect as parts of others you like and admire is like breaking the
sephiroth in two. To achieve the best you can be you have to integrate
both as part of yourself like the pale blue and the dark blue connect
not separate a totality of a human being. 
Also there is a
possibility that the sephiroth was the representation of two humans as
mating couple the upward triangle being a male and the lower one a
female i believe the Thoth tablet said what is up is also down. The
ancients were aware of sexuality as part of their totality if you wish
to integrate a male with yourself that is fine, there is one male
perfect for you in this world, a man that will complete you, if you wish
a female
integrated within you that is not so much, a balanced couple is half
male half female. Also if you wish to understand better i would suggest
you read Plato the Banquet also known as conversations on love. I am
