Am i astral projecting or lucid dreaming?

with your help and guidance I last night managed to walk away from a nasty dream in which I would have been disassembled by strange devil like creatures. Again I felt trapped at first but then managed to over come that paralyzed feeling. I'm also writing a horror book using my dreams as a basis which has already attracted the interest of a publisher.
