Posting a thread is a bit like planting a seed, in my opinion anyway. We have a certain content that we place out in the open and allow it to interact with the wider world. With care and attention we can keep these seeds going to the point where they flourish and sprout, with a bit of luck that is.
This is my little thread then, all about the energy of our written posts. I find it fascinating seeing what happens to these seed ideas once they are released here on the forum. Most people are respectful and nurturing of threads, others are just selfish and dump all over our little creations. That type of behaviour is damaging and rude. It is hurtful to see ones creations damaged out of ignorance and thoughtfulness by responses to it. I have seen threads killed and crushed by immature attitudes, people wanting to dominate, people needing to be heard, wanting to win in an argument at all costs. The thing is every time a thread is answered , the person responding is holding the energy of the original and is responsible for the threads survival. Threads are fragile, easily upset, they die, can get hurt, they hold memories that will have further consequences. Sometimes they even fruit and produce offshoots. There are even others with the power to heal and help us. Other threads just need a bloody good prune by a good moderator as they inflict a presence on the entire surroundings that can be deleterious.
If anyone should care to post anything here on this little seed thread, my hope is that whatever you wish to write is the absolute best that you can muster. Anything less than that is really not worth contributing.
