I would look at that a little differently. Consider that we are basically attempting to tune into the universal warrior's intent "network" with the equipment that we have, while trying to upgrade and power that equipment continuously. The warriors string of intent in return communicates back to us in the best way it can (though it is often either un-noticed or cryptic as all hell) through both first and second attention. To view the message, i would take a "personal step back" to observer mode (which you have partially done by identifying that this is an incident related to the warriors path) and then look at it under the guise of another.
First Driving/vehicle transport is rather lethal to humans, it kills more people "accidentally" than pretty much any thing else. You had your mirror damaged, there by hampering your safety, making you a little more vulnerable in the odds of things. You took a year to fix it, but even then u did a half pie job of it. The universe goes out of its way to point out that a warrior is required to remain on top of their game in all arenas of their lives, and sends a bird to smash it for you so you notice.
If this was me, I would interpret this as a warning to "tidy up" all potential hazards in your life, making it a little tighter. Check the tires, glue down that loose bathroom tile, move some junk lying around the house and drop it at the local charity place or dump, partially so you are not so much a target of the snipers of the unknown, but so that it relays and affects your path as well, tightening up your warrior practices by default.. kind of like a rolling effect. The universe has let you know that your a bit too loose.
Then i would thank Power for it. The impact most likely killed the "damn bird" as well, who will need an appreciative thank you, and if it didn't kill it, I would be even more on my guard. Its up to you of course, if you don't take the gift, or decide you are two busy. I would see potentially several courses happening from it. You will find the universe loves to shine a light on what lessons need to be worked on and techniques needing polishing. If u don't do it, it tends to repeat that lesson over and over, or in some instances it may simply decide you are of better value in the role of a mirror crashing bird.. ; ) kind of scary sometimes how impersonal it all is.
