Power and heart, two fascinating areas of study.
How do we define each in terms of sorcery? Can others define these terms for each of us or are they to be defined by ourselves? I'll share how I define the two.
Power: the ability to make conscious and aware decisions.
Heart: the ability to make conscious and aware decisions.
Oops, did I give the same reasons for both? Looks like I did. To embrace ourselves, our strengths and weaknesses, and still walk in full awareness of what we carry and then making decisions with those traits in mind lends itself to living with heart and power. There is no good or bad, right and wrong, black and white. There are only decisions with the option to make no-decision. When we judge others for their decisions, what is really going on? Do we need from them something that we feel we lack or can't do ourselves? Do we think they are quitting their journey? Do we think they don't care about us?
We can't decide what is or isn't right for other people. We can only decide what is right for ourselves. To decide someone does or does not have 'power' or 'heart' is a judgement. What sort of power does that person hold which makes us feel violated or betrayed? Is that an issue with them or within us?
