For me Power is akin to magic. A person with 'power' will decide not to get on a train that crashes. They will be able to lift something overly heavy if a situation really calls for it, they will have visions, be outside themself, teleport. 'Power' is something truly abstract. It can be witnessed, experienced, wielded even hunted, but nailing as a standard definition would need someone with 'power' themselves. Its a strange thing to try and handle isnt it?
That is i guess the definition of 'power' in sorcery for me. Of course other people use the word differently. So i usually try to go with their definitions now.
Its just quicker for communication. I mean what need have i got to convert people to my way of seeing the world? Decisions like that are up to 'power' to decide, not me.
Maybe i should start calling it 'juju' instead.
