But intending the right kind of acceptance, that's key. One form suggests "I accept to be dominated over" (still maintaining the idea of being victimized) and another form suggests "I accept (embrace) rather than struggle with my thoughts" (acknowledging its just a thought-perception).More than a external acknowledgement, it's a recapitulatory/cathartic statement. Our past feelings of self-pity are dissolved by it. (worked wonders with mine)
