the way I understand the situation you speak of coming your way, I would say this:
as the stalked I find it is best to be attentive. You dont want stuff to escape your attention. Observe the inner to catch the things that are bubbling up or not. Make note of what is and why, or at least what and then drill on the why later (if youre reacting then looking at the why later might makes sense, so you also dont miss something). get to the roots of issues. if youre angry, hurt, jealous etc look at why, what is behind the feeling, what history is behind it, what does it link to and why, what events from the past, what wishes for the future and where do those wishes or hopes come from, from what events or states in the past... etc etc.. lol i could just write a bunch of questions here one going to the other... coming to somewhere asking: who am I, why do I care, what in me cares, is that me, is there a me? what is me? . Anyways, I think you get the point. The next step is to not have an emotional reaction next time. Recap it all, cut the ties to it, so once something like that repeats you are just fine neutral with it all.
