I believe stalking to be the requirement of those who are in control of their personal folly. People are taught to take life too seriously. Once a warrior becomes detached enough he realizes that he is much more than his body. As his awareness expands he thinks differently and this can make dealing with average people uncomfortable as they cannot understand his point of view. Thus the need to use stalking techniques to get the best of situations when dealing with people whose folly is uncontrolled.
The true stalker views people with the same detached eye that he views himself. He asks the question: How can I use this situation to my overall advantage? He then sets up situations between himself and people artistically and strategically so that no matter what may happen he comes out of the experience stronger, wiser and happier than he was before.
Like it or not, when dealing with a people who are dishonest with themselves you cannot always be honest. To do so will indeed cause friction and anger. Learn the lesson of Jesus Christ and see just what happens to one who is honest with a dishonest people. Unless a detached warrior uses stalking techniques and says what he must to get the best of every situation ESPECIALLY WHEN DEALING WITH PEOPLE he is doomed to a life of isolation.
Those who are serious about developing excellent stalking techniques need to do concerted research into the area of manipulating people to ones personal advantage. Successful salesmen do it and unless you are manipulating people to your personal advantage YOU WILL INDEED BE MANIPULATED BY OTHERS.
Books like: The Art of Mingling (Easy, fun and proven techniques for mastering any room) by Jeanne Martinet: ISBN 0-312-08316-5 can be essential to developing the art of saying what you must in order to get people to respond exactly the way you want them to. To be fair about this, one must develop techniques to stalk oneself and ones own weaknesses for the art of manipulating others is born of the art of manipulating oneself and those who manipulate others in ways they themselves would not want to be manipulated risk all kinds of detrimental backlashing hell. This is a lesson the fool Carlos Castaneda never learned.
