It's funny you had this discussion about eyes, few eeks ago i was with someone and as we talked i decided to stop looking into his right eye but start looking into his left, no particular intent or change of behaviour from my part just changed the eye i was looking at consciousely. After a while he stopped and said "why are you looking at me this way?" i said "what way?? why? what do you feel?" and he told me that he feels just uncomfortable. I explained then to him that i just looked into his left eye instead of his right and he said that he felt that i was looking into his "inside side, his safe side". I didn't see anything looking back to me other than himself, i rather saw ..another part of himself watching me back.
It was interesting because i look into the left eye of people very often, sometimes unconsciousely, sometimes on purpose. But it was the first time i actually got a feedback on that)) a feed back which once again made me remember the following:
I want to point it out once again, both for me and for all to remember: people are sensitive beings, with feelings and fears and everything. It doesn't matter if we want to look into their darkness or their light, we have to remember that entering a mind(either in the wake or sleeping reality) can be an act of violation done either with intent or out of clumsiness. I am sure each one of us has been clumsy during discovering the worlds inside us and inside the others. Lets not forget respect, tenderness and discretion when looking:-) lets be inviting and not intruding.
And something more... seeing something that scares us in someones eyes is not nessecerily a parasite.
Infinity looking back can be equally scary))
...
What i have found very interesting about certain people's eyes is that sometimes i get lost in them. I mean... i have had people talking and talking to me and i realise after a point that i haven't heard a word just because i have been lost in their eyes. It's like i wake up suddently and i have to make a very conscious and impeccable effort to stay concetrated at their words.
Such people always put me in a state of alertness because i realise there is something about them that totally absorbs my attention beyond control and i feel totally...bound!) once i had followed like a jombie a man out of the metro and kept walking behind him until i woke up (after a few minutes) to realise that i am on the wrong station! and i hadn't even looked in his eyes, i just kept feeling his presence for some unexplained reason and just followed him when he got up. That really shocked me. This has definetely something to do with their energy independently to their conscious intent. It's very interesting to observe and a good reminder of the need for a warrior to always be in calm alertness (i forget how's this called in castaneda terminology??) You never know what's going to appear infront of you :-)
