I believe that I indeed am the baby in the dream. The two men who tried to help me are two powerful, magical, and ultimately unbalanced men who ended up not being able to help me because their own natures bit them in the ass.
I have inherited a psychic sensitivity that runs in my mother's family line. She has it as well, but is afraid of it. She married an Air Force Captain, my father, to protect her. My father didn't understand my sensitivity and gave me a hard time about it, and my mother could have supported me but didn't.
In my dream, I couldn't get to the baby and no one could help him, but the baby could help himself. You can grow up fast in the dreamworld, I've seen it happen.
My mother's fear of her own magic has caused her to fear her magical son. I still love her, but I'm finding the feminine support and guidance I need from my wife and from the Goddess within me and from Her Priestesses.
