Dear Dreamgirl,
Thanks for your warm reply. I love the sound of your classes, sounds fun. I used to play a game with a friend where we would both draw a head on a piece of paper, fold the paper so the head is no longer visible. Then, pass the paper, each draw a body so on and legs. We had some interesting results to say the least but I like your I idea of having no framework at all and seeing what comes up, where are are my pencils? I
often find myself drawing spirals!
On another note one thing I have found very profound started with a body movement class I stumbled upon by accident. I literally while walking around a field one evening came across some moving shapes in the dark. I assumed they were actors from a local acting school doing some weird play and walked on but i went back to inquire what they were doing and found out it was a movement class called Shintaido which is Chinese for new body way. It would be lengthy to explain the class in detail but the results really have had a huge impact on my life. I realized that i had pretty much ignored my body for years and must have been living just in my head! Apart from just being good exercise with bits of yoga and Pilates thrown in for good measure the class began to have very quickly a transcendental feel about it, not to mention the amazing people who i stumbled on to that first night.
I saw the post on the force and liked it. I have often thought about calling myself a Jedi as a joke or really just to avoid telling people what i really believe although i don't think i am going to have that problem anymore. take care Dreamgirl, nice to find out some things about you : )
Warmest regards,
Little paw.
