I forgot to add something about dream character which I never knew but have used to my own satisfaction as truthfulness
That is to
Regard unknown or unseen presences in a dream as a
stranger, or if he or she feels very familiar to you, then regard
him or her as your own dreamer, or an aspect of yourself.
I find it easy now to identify characters in dreams as either aspects of my own dreamer or like in one of my most epic dreams foreign elements. i once encountered a being that pretended to be people i knew so as to scare me, I could feel its foreign presence and was glad when it finally had gone. That one has come after me a few times. Another time I saw these mythical animals that were as far as I can tell real beings, far off in a field near some woods, it was an exciting time and i didn't get too close. Other times i dream of people I know but can tell right away that they are my own inner version of that person. I sometimes wonder about how much of people we know in daily life are our own inner idea of who that person is as opposed to what they really might be ; )
