"The capacity for own original thinking or third attention of the
sorcerers , has to be trained like a dystrophic muscle. It starts with a
persistent enquiry , i.e what is thinking ?, what is mind beyond
matter?, what is free will ? what is existence? Who am I ? At first it
is very difficult, because we are so used with the easy-going,
complacent habitual thoughts of the F.I . After some training it is
great fun. The development of the ability to think is as important as
the decision about the content of original thinking. The choice to
think about the issue of thinking in-it-self as a very good choice to
start."
Exactly, and it is great fun. I know that something interesting is about to happen when the questions start pouring out. The trick for me at least is to not get caught up in the answers to the questions but the questions themselves have magic in them. They are possibilities, worlds to create and explore...endless possibility...a concept that seems at the outset to be freedom, yet when experienced can become its own prison.
