probably you had been not very good at covering up your intention, to fog yourself. People are not supposed to be aware that you fog yourself, if you intend to do so.
It's a bit like what they say in the Bibles somewhere: You are not supposed to know what your right hand is doing, when you do something with your left hand (or so). I take that advice as a hint how to erase personal history when it comes to not showing to other people what you are doing, because you don't know it yourselves.
