you think, that the people's imagage, once it is erased, these people still will have the power to hold on to you? What is left to these people of 'your' character as they once knew it, if you don't keep up their illusion of you? Wouldn't they loose their personal power to communiate with you newly arranged island of your tonal?
In my experience they just let go of you, since there is nothing they remember of you.
