recapitulation question
#6
I admit I never applied a systematic approach to recapitulation, but I guess it would be quite useful.
I always was driven by my psychological needs for well being to recapitulate on the origing of my feelings. Rosygyro is right. When looking for what makes up your imagination, you get to the perception of reality. By recapitulating what happend to you when you perceived something at first, you get to the very center of yourself. That way imagination is out of focus and objectiives are present.
But you could as well choose a systematic approach. I had a friend, who came to visit me after not being in touch with me for 30 years. He was writing a book on his life,
he said and he tried to reach all the people he had dealt with during his life. What a great method to do recapitulation!
Besides remembering the people you met, one could as well visit the places where strong feelings occured with which you felt connected.
