One tonal act which serves as a great mirror to how I'm doing with my pacing is observing my driving skills. Do I drive with road rage? Only when I haven't been taking care of myself Generally, I'm a pretty chill driver. I have people who drive around me, 20 mph over the limit, and that doesn't bug me. The drivers who annoy me are the old folks I expect to go the speed limit and I'm always straddling the speed limit (unless there's a concern with safety and I need to arrive somewhere sooner...then...well....there are exceptions to the rule). If the speed limit is 80, I drive at 80. If it's 25 then...it depends on where I am I suppose what I'm saying is I don't have an issue with going faster, but I do have issues with moving slower.
My driving skills are almost identical to how I move through life as slowing down has always been an issue for me. There is just so much knowledge and cool things to do in the world that I feel like even if I move at 150% I'm still not going to get through everything by the time I die! So I've had to learn to slow down and accept the fact that, meh, I won't get to do everything on my bucket list.
With this in mind, what type of driver are you? :lol
