Seeing the flyer

I REALLY liked the answer, and am especially fond that you used the word 'logic' (Ayn Rand style).

Reason to the hilt took me to a 'fu**ed-upness in 'doing' manifestating.  The 'consequence' for me is a state similar to 'Howard Roark' when he had no outs, but unlike using "Randian reason" I forfeited any set purpose.  In short, I am practically unconnected axiomatically and alone, and I say that without negative or positive judgement.  I am obviously moving through states unseen previously, and while self-trust in reason is my mantra--the reason is often only faintly 'far out there' after having forfeited playing conventionally.

You might question if having no axiomatic purpose is contradictory to reason?  I cannot answer that from the place I am other than to mention 'a sense of intent' (intent to deal with being alive--involves the 'yes' you speak of as natural energy.......  however, reason tells ME this must include the 'no's to be valid.  Think of having to judge life having to live every 'terrible' life ever lived--born to poverty and eating from a city dump or tortured and having your body parts dismembered by a tyrant (some examples--and there are far worse as you can imagine).

AND, I have come to believe 'intent' in the perceptual organism goes beyond the brain and reason.  Rand was mistaken about emotions--anthropology says they were survival 'tools' long before reason evolved.  To further complicate matters, advanced neuroscientists across the world have demonstrated that free will is an illusion-- that the chemical process of invariant firing synapses takes place several seconds BEFORE conscious thought.  Albert Einstein alluded that a human has no more free will than a rock, that everything was predetermined from infinity.

Don Juan's controlled folly is quite useful in this regard.

I want mention Morning Son and delawaredan that I identified with your posts though I have not had those experiences.
