Wasting intentional energy

Hi Garth! I liked your post too, the way you described your experiences. I once dreamed of this enormous black thing, looked like a sting ray and had bulging eyes, I could see the whites of them. It was hovering over me as I lay in bed, pressuing down on me, I felt it compressing my chest. I felt immobile while it was over me. I could think clearly, that is, I knew it should not be doing what it was doing, and I felt angry, like screming at it to leave. But I didn't scream, or couldn't. Then I woke up. I then read a few months later Carlos's new book out which had the chapter on mud shadows. I was so excited to read about what I saw and felt months earlier in that dream. Even after that dream, like the next day, I went to the library to try and find images to fit this creature (this was before the internet was very popular), I was rather obsessed with finding it. I was looking at baroque era paintings as that is how it felt to me. I did find a few...and then later... years later learned about mothman, and that looked rather similar to what I saw too.



You heard the sound of it eating you, now that must have left a lasting impression of it!
