At the moment of death the human body's AP implodes. The spirit rises out of it. If a warrior can use death's energy when this happens he/she can shift to the third attention and keep awareness and inhabit the double.
OK. I recall this from the books, and while it is a bit abstract, you are likely right as to the process (which I can't hope to accomplish at my level, but that is just a thought).
In the dream, I simply found myself shifted to a different reality. If this was done through the double, so be it.
My next question:
Did you see the remarks I made about author Stephen King? That he seems to reflect some of the Nagual teachings? ( I forgot to mention that he had a character 'See', and he used that word, the fibers of the world's energy) I can't even find where I posted it, myself. I sought an appropriate thread, blindly. It's easy for me to get lost here these days! So many new directions. That is a reason I had hoped to use my introduction thread in a more general way.
(edit) Oh, in looking at your reply to Blue Totem about Flyers, it really does reflect what King wrote, the kinds of beings affecting humans and how to deal with them. I really wonder about trauma affecting the AP shift. Either the author has read Castaneda and is borrowing ideas, or has no knowledge about the nature of his thinking. I can imagine that many may experience an AP shift, and not realize it.
Good to hear from you
