Fire purifies everything. I believe it is what both Jesus and John the Baptist refered to as the "baptism of fire." The wineskin must be changed to accept the "new wine" Spirit.
Otherwise the bottle will burst and both the bottle and the wineskin are lost.
Contacting the spirt-fire should, in my opinion, be done gradually to give the vessel time to change.
You have to rise far above the realms of fliers and demons to contact the source of this power. They cannot touch or follow you there. But,when and if you do touch the power you may find it is more frightening than the demons.
This is not meant to put anyone off, only to inform. Becoming one with that ocean of blue-white lightening taught me the meaning of Awe,(fear of God).
But, "..the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.." and I would not trade that experience for anything.
But know that the source of this energy is not in the tail bone area. It is far above our bodies. When contacted by the "Thousand Petaled Lotus" or "Point" meditation it comes down into our bodies and turns and rises at the tailbone area awakening the Serpent.Bob
