I think this is a big part of what's wrong in this world. I read someone's opinion in some book, (and I think it is probably true), that this
"hierarchy mentality" came down to us with the fallen angels ala the "Book of Enoch". and that it has wrongfully infected every aspect of
this world we live in. Church, businesses, schools and even social and family affairs.
Jesus told the disciples it would not be so with them, but he who would be greatest among them would be servant to them.
That kind of turns the entire world on it's head.
