"Yes, Dreamways racism is one of those very nasty types of FI."
He was not being racist at all. I hope you saw that. He was pointing out an egotism that permeates religions.
The idea of the "chosen people." They, (religions) all think they are the ones who know and all the others don't. Otherwise they would of course
belong to that other religion. And yes, it is an irrational and foriegn mind that instills that type of thinking. And, in fact, is the reason for the wars we
are now engaged in.
The Jewish race were the chosen people in one respect. The Savior was to come through them. And so the writings of prophecy announcing that had to come through
them also. If it had happened to the Irish, they would have been the "chosen people". The Jews did a great job of preserving the ancient writings,
letter for letter, word for word, if you actually look into it.
What the majority of Judeo-Christian and Muslim religions fail to see (a flier induced blindness in my opinion) is the allegorical nature of the stories of
Abraham and his offspring.
Jews and Muslims can all trace their lineage from Abraham. The promises of the Old Testament were to Abraham and to his seed forever. Part of those prophecies
said that they would come from many nations.
Where they err in their reasoning is that they fail to see that Abraham was originally named Abram and it meant "belief in the unseen."
The "spiritual children" of Abraham are those who Believe in the invisible and follow it to it's end. Those are the heirs to the promises and the
"chosen people". Not his physical offspring. His physical offspring are called "After the flesh", meaning they can trace their DNA back to
him. Or at least supposedly as his story is Allegory and he may well never have existed in actuality.
These "spiritual" sons of Abraham are the chosen people. They are from many nations and races and there is no difference between male, female, black,
white or brown or yellow.
