Well, don't forget, "sorcerers" are the "bad guys." We are like the gangster rappers of the new age movement. Don't believe
it? Try going into any fundamentalist church of any kind on this planet and tell them you are there to teach them about sorcery. I'm sure you will be
greeted with many colorful expletives and more. Seems like most "nagualists" I run into are trying to "clean up" nagualism, make it
something fluffy and politicaly correct. They won't be happy until nagualism is toothless and about nothing, because they are cowards. Don't get me
wrong, I don't have anything against people who are not nagualists and don't agree with nagualism, because they are being straight up about it.
So, Arnway may be a dipshit, but he's not a coward, he is just like all the other "true believers", myself included. I don't see how any of
us will ever be able to form a unified approach to nagualism as it is inherently feudal. I think we just have to accept that and do our own things
individually. The only thing that could temporarily unite nagualists is a very powerful nagual leader, but we just don't have one of those at the moment.
I'm not saying that we don't have naguals available, just not so powerful as to be a global force yet. Who knows, maybe one of them will get to that
level in our life time, which would be great.
Another point I'd like to make is that a nagual leader is not a nagual because of his or her personality or because alot of people like them. This really
has nothing to do with it. Take Arnway for example, he could be a nagual and the fact that he's an **** would have no bearing on his value as a leader.
The nagual leader is able to channel the nagual into this world, past themselves to others. You always know when the nagual touches you because you end up
being taught a lesson about your own egomania by your own hand. That is what makes it seem like magic to me. Delicate individuals, such as the guy who
created Sustained Reaction, just can't take a joke, they can't take being made a fool of by their own doing. People like that blame the nagual leader
because they are ignorant. It was the nagual that reached out from infinity and kicked their ass, using their foot. It doesn't get any better than that.
To me, the ideal nagual leader would channel a bunch of energy, and just spend their time sending out apology letters to everyone, saying sorry that your ego
was crushed so ruthlessly, I swear I had nothing to do with it.
