Face to Face with the Foreign Installation
Romans 7
1
Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he
liveth?
2
For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is
loosed from the law of her husband.
3
So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be
dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.
4
Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to
him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.
5
For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto
death.
6
But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not
in the oldness of the letter.
7
What shall we say then? is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except
the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.
8
But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.
9
For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.
10
And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death.
11
For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me.
12
Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.
13
Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which
is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.
14
For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
15
For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.
16
If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.
17
Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
18
For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that
which is good I find not.
19
For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.
20
Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
21
I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
22
For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
23
But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which
is in my members.
24
O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
25
I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of
sin.
Gen:17
3
And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying,
4
As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.
5
Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.
6
And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.
7
And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to
be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.
8
And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an
everlasting possession; and I will be their God.
9
And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations.
10
This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be
circumcised.
11
And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you.
12
And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or
bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed.
13
He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your
flesh for an everlasting covenant.
14
And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath
broken my covenant.
Abram was from "Ur of the Chaldees". Or, (Light of the Magicians). In other words he was under a bewitchment from birth.
Abram was told by God to leave everything he knew. His family, friends and country and go into a land he knew not.
This is pure Don Juan philosophy.
"Belief in the unseen" IS Abram.
He is given this Covenant and Promise that he will be circumsised throughout his GENERATIONS.
This is shown by Paul in the New Testament to be ALLEGORY.
Abram believes God and his name is changed to Abraham.
To be circumcised throughout our generations is to have the FLESH removed layer by layer. In this way we are becoming more and more alive (GENERATIONS)
This is a promise of an ongoing gift (Grace) as opposed to an ongoing requirement (Law).
And after the heart is circumcised we can look back at this "Law" and see that it is not a "Law" but a Covenant and a Promise.
We can also take the geneology (again the idea of generations) of Jesus in the book of Matthew as levels of awareness.
Here are a few important ones;
Abram belief in the invisible. (Who's name changes to Abraham, belief in God)
Isaac, Laughter. The joy experienced when we begin to become aware through hearing.
Jacob following after God. Who's name changes to Israel (Power with God or overcoming with God) each time he has a spiritual experience.
Joseph the dreamer and interpreter of dreams. Who went from slave to prisoner to ruler over the known world and saved the entire known world from starvation.
David, Had the awareness that his iniquities were not counted against him,..(An Awareness of Grace)
Joseph of the New Testament. Another dreamer, of course his name is the same = same awareness. Was visited by Gabriel twice in dreams in order to keep Jesus
from being murdered by Herod. Another dream of another Joseph that saves the world.
Jesus, "I and the Father are One"
All awarenesses or levels of consciousness that we can experience, if we continue to let the layers of the onion of flesh fall away.
As Abram, we all start out in "Ur of the Chaldees." Light of the Magicians. Under the spell of those magicians we think we see what is relly going
on, but we do not. We must leave that land to begin to realize there is another, better one.
Who are these magicians? Our parents, our friends, our culture, our world view and everything that contributes to the bewitchment.
Included in that world view is the inability to see the finer realms. Those of the flyer and those of angels and beyond.
Layers upon layers, skins upon skins.
By the way, as one who did leave it all behind for a time I would say that actually physically leaving your home is not necessary. It is the ideas and
ingrained view (our Tonal) that needs to be left. A "changing of our mind" or repentance as John the Baptist called it.
"There are so many ways to say and experience what ever could be the purpose of the Foreign Installation. But by the adversity that FI brings , the war
