Quote from Casey research
The Only Politician We Like
No question about it, in our view members of the political class are power-hungry parasites that have always, and will always, suck the marrow out of the bones of any and all societies, using hand-outs, lies, promises, coercion, gerrymandering, unchecked spending and all the other tools of their dark trade to assure a soft career and a steady flow of assignations with interns of either sex.
Which is what makes our old friend and long-shot presidential candidate Rep. Ron Paul such an enigma. Almost alone, as far as we can tell, he wants to pull the pins out from under the bureaucracy, return the monetary system to something approaching sanity and generally set a torch to the rats nest in Washington. (Gee, I hope my views are not coming across too strongly.)
In any event, while his chances of winning only marginally better than everything ending up nice and shiny in Iraq over the next year, we still thought you might enjoy hearing the truth spoken by a politician. (I know, I know, its hard to believe, but its true.)
You can do so by following the link just below to listen to an interview with Ron recently done by Al Korelin of the Korelin Report.
