Here in the pre-Columbian New World , as nations developed and religions grew in influence, slavery and brutality grew in sophistication. The Aztecs convinced
their people that beating hearts must be sacrificed to keep the sun rising , as did the Toltecs before them. Then come the Spanish , with whip and fire as
tools of religious conversion. History itself is only a tale of outrages , as those peoples who were of meek society were either destroyed or ignored.
Don Juan talked of slipping between the world-views to freedom. I find a direct line from FI to Folly and then Controlled Folly , as history is a continuous
record of Folly. This can be scary knowledge; walking a razor's edge!
