If you want to see a superb example of the fliers agitating numerous people simultaneously, in erratic and bizarre ways (hallmarks of flier agitation IMHO), check out the ch-ch-ch changes thread at SR. One by one each member of this particular clutch of people take turns attempting to insult and waylay the conversation away from a point I was gaining ground on starting at Page 4.
Like I said before, recently something in me has shifted and I'm beginning to notice how the FI affects whole bands of people via the tribal instinct. In essence, one of their band has been crossexamined as to his behavior. Instead of examining the question further, the group sees that a member has been "attacked" and begins, one by one, sometimes in rapid fire (note the times of the posts) to verbally flog the questioner, often going below the belt and bringing up irrelevant comments to acheive their goal: stopping the intrusion into the status quo..into the chicken coop...
Forget that I am the one crossexamining Peter's statements. Just insert another name where mine is. It becomes easier then to eradicate any preconceived ideas about what's going on and let's you really see the FI in action.
