Hi;
New here. And probably insane... go figure...
NLW, this silly croc doesn't quite agree with you about we being insane... and this croc certainly doesn't appreciate it to be commanded to believe that he's insane (as you said in your post, "face it, we are insane").
Nah... this croc ain't insane, wolfie... maybe you are, and that's OK, but don't go speaking for all of us and worst still, trying to force us to believe in your beliefs, huh... that's not nice, is it, wolfie?
This croc thinks that humans are naturally predisposed to laziness. It's more comfortable to delegate our decision making and even our thinking on others. That way, we can comfortably hide behind the justification that we were under the control of this or that.
The Flyer is indeed a darned culprit that does indeed wreck havoc upon most of in many unsuspected manners. But so are we ourselves, once we get rid off the fleshy carcass (chlep, chlep, getting ungry, now that come to think of it... damn... ) and realize that we can act upon those left behind...
You know what, wolfie ? (btw, i mean no disrespect with this "wolfie" addressing; on the contrary... crocs are capable of sweet affections also, ya know...) Folks are always after a universal panaceia for everything, be it an intellectual puzzle, a mechanical engine, or whatever. But things aren't as simple and straightforward as they would fancy them to be... and yet, how simple they are indeed...
Tell you what... before blaming the flyers, quiet down for a moment and ask yourself if it could be that something else other than the flyers could act upon and influence a human being to do or say something which they usually wouldn't do or say...
Here's one or two possibilities for you to consider... electromagnetic manipulation... a fleshless human who just discovered that s/he can act upon those still fiercelly identified with their own carcassses... another fleshy human who just happen to understand a few things about him/herself and his/her own natural resources, like what are thoughts and how can thoughts be handled, manipulated...
See? Still thinking the darned flyers are the only culprits responsible for most of our afflictions?
Of course, we always look to some external culprit, don't we? Too uncomfortable, too painful, too hard to look into ourselves and acknowledge our own share, our own quota of responsibility for such, ain't it? Of course... it would compel us to get off our lazy asses and DO something about it... YAIC! Mama mia... sacrilege... heresy... this croc is nuts... to DO something about it? And loose all the confies which the social conditionings provide us with? Shoot that damn croc... it's even more insane than the darned flyers themselves... ahhh... ah, ah, ah, ah, ah.....
The blame game is a comfortable one. Humans love to feel sorry for themselves, to be able to complain about whatever, to drawn themselves in their self pitty. The predator simply happens to be the perfect scape goat, the perfect of all justifications for humans to give full reign to their moanings, complainings, braggings, accusings, blamings and the likes.
Castaneda might come to be credited with revealing the reality of the predator to the rest of humankind, yes... but ONLY to the humankind of the 20th century. And even so, to the gross of it, not to the Whole of it...
Right... need to get back to the swamp... see if can find a tasty frog crying its eyes out about how unfortunate it is to be under the reigns of a flyer... poor thing... will do my daily good action and eat it... yeap... then it will be free of the flyer... and in the process this croc might very well get some extra nutritional content... if it manages to bite and chew the frog's flyer with the frog... chlep, chlep....
(swinging the tail) NHAC! (damn... lept away in the last moment...)
That's it... now reaaly need to go for a deer... see ya later, wolfie...
