I agree, I believe we will only feel complete when we rejoin our Source.
Hmmm, I believe we never are really separate from it in the first place.
Other people have egos as well. Even when you think that yours is subdued other peoples' egos can still trigger yours because you haven't gone all the way.
Dont tell me, Dreamster, but honestly ask yourself if you have gone all the way with subduing your own ego. Can you honestly say that you are 100% positive all the time? Do you still harbor separatist emotions, or have you completely transcended all that? Once again, Im not asking you to make any comment here, just do a little self-reflection on your own. If you can honestly claim 100% success, then my hats off to you and keep up the good work. But if you still have negative thoughts, or still harbor feelings of antagonism regarding others, then you still just have a philosophy convenient to your FI, and when you fail it, your FI will make you feel that you just havent gone all the way with it.
I think you got hurt and discouraged by those close to you and have retreated to a defensive posture and concocted a "Foreign Installation" to give you something to fight so you won't have the responsibility of surrendering you sense of separate self. There is no "I" in team.

For the record, I most heartily recommend keeping on as a Warrior and maintaining a constant effort until we succeed in mastering our mind and expanding our identity beyond the limitations of the Tonal.
Sorry, I didnt concoct the notion of the FI. Don Juan gets all the credit for that one. And if you *think* that the idea of the Foreign Installation or Parasite is just an excuse for not taking responsibility, then you either havent read Castanedas Active Side of Infinity or have not considered the information presented therein carefully enough. Thats ok, your FI doesnt want you to pay any attention at all to the idea of its existence. Join the club.
Please also know that I actually share much of both you and Castors commendable philosophy. The error in your thinking is that acknowledgement of the existence of the Foreign Installation contradicts those ideals. The whole point is to have accurate information in order to better succeed and heres to the success of all our efforts!
