My favorite part, "Let us return the favor to those who helped us to grow by helping others who want to grow. By helping others, we can transcend our pride and expand our awareness more than we could possible imagine."
Pride holds us back from helping others. I've come to a wonderful conclusion recently... those who are the most generous with themselves are also the most selfish! Includes God, mother Teresa, Budda, whatever. They are the most selfish and their happiness comes from their love of helping others, CUZ IT HELPS THEMSELVES.
Ok ok, I'm being retarded but the point stands... there's an even better high than helping ourselves, it's when we see others grow and become someone even better than ourselves it brings US happiness. Can you believe that? Someone else grows and we ride on their wave.... haha. The truely giving find joy and power in the success of others. We help because it makes US feel good, it just so happens to make the other person feel good too. Oh I can count the ways I could relate this to sex but I will refrain.
