"Anyhow, my situation is that I have never known love; Not Mom or Dad. My birth was a mistake."
Your birth was no mistake. Most people's births are not "planned" in the fullest sense of the word. I have three boys who were all suprises to one degree or another. Not that we didn't want them, but that the exact time of the pregnancy is always inconvenient in one way or another.
But in the fuller sense, God knew perfectly well you would come to be. And when, and what you would go through. We can take our upbringing as positive or negative examples. Probably a bit of both. No one has a perfect childhood, though some have it harder than others.
"One strange thing is that once I understood what giving is about, no one was interested in what I had to give. Self-Importance, on their part, I'll bet."
So you stumbled onto the truth of the matter and they were blind to it. I have heard love defined as; "..giving, expecting nothing in return." I think that is a good way to look at it at one level.
"And it is a damn shame, as I do think that I have somethng to offer, especially to posterity; ie: after my death.
Maybe not;only Spirit judges."
There are two ways to view reality. Both are in Scripture. Both are true in the respect that whichever view you subscribe to becomes your reality.
You can look at both reality an the Scripture as judgemental. If you do that is all you will see in them.
Or you can look at both reality and scripture as grace (an unearned gift). If you do, that is what life becomes for you. Your world view reflected back at you.
God is not judging anyone. God gives us the choice. Most people choose Judgement. The way of Grace is the better way. Jesus said; "I show you a better way." He also said; "Behold, I make all things new." That includes the Old Testament Law of reprisal and punishment.
It becomes the "Perfect Law of Liberty."
God is not pissed with anyone. Moses brought the Law. Jesus brought Grace and Truth. That is the Truth. God is not mad at anyone. If you can accept that, everything changes.
"What the hell is Love, anyway?
I don't know anymore."
It is a power that permeates everything and can flow through us. I think we can access it by getting an idea of what compassion is. You have had a not so perfect childhood and life. As many of us can relate to.
Maybe your compassion can be shared with those who have come through similar circumstances.
Hang in there Bob.
