I'm with you Dok, I think if you live like that there's nothing to worry about.
According to Tibetan Buddhist teachings the opportunity arises for everyone at the moment of death to obtain liberation, and this continues to be available every day for 40 days, as the soul is between births for that period, called the Bardo or until one chooses a womb-door.
Generally death is such a disorienting and disconcerting affair that one chooses a womb-door out of fear.
Now ... if one is fearless and has unbending intent then one recognizes ones True Nature upon death and is liberated. Soul continues on past Samsara, or the Kalachakra, wheel of Birth and Death. If one becomes frightened then one seeks refuge by the inviting appearance of the womb-door.
This explanation makes sense to me, but I think there is more to it.
In Fourth Way teachings they belief that one can crystalise an individuality that can live on after death, but this crystalization may or may not live on permanently. They also speak about recurrence.
The fact is we don't really know, most of us, but unless we become warriors we are in fact doomed.
What's behind womb-door number 3?
