We just need a paradigm shift, that's all. Humans are simply misguided due to lack of perspective. I think on some level we know we've been conquered and are subjugated by that predatory force out there/in here, but don't have the focus and wherewithall to do something about it...so we direct our bitterness outward, striking at our fellow man, trying to command the world of objects because, in our subjugated state, thats all that's left to us. It's like inmate in a prison finding a way to make a shiv to attack a fellow inmate by scrounging up the scant resources available to him. If we would only redirect that modicum of resourcefulness....our scrounging capacity...to that thing sitting on our heads! We are resourceful, no question....making use of piteous amounts of energy in ingenious ways. But to apply that energy to the real problem at hand...that's the rub.
