Planet X Revisited
#2
(This is the post I wrote before, the first part of the prophecy I received, and I didn't revise it so I guess I've said the same things twice, sorry).

Count Zero's post about Planet X seemed a little flaky to me (sorry, Count, but inside I'm still a skeptic). But, I've grown used to finding truth in strange places so I did not just pass this up without looking. I followed several links, got a good look at the information that is available, and let me tell why I was impressed.
First, the fellow who is promoting this theory owes his involvement in it at least partially to a dream about the end times, one that both he and his son dreamed in the same way, independently. I sort of respect that, probably it is obvious why I do.
Second, the actual discovery of this stellar companion, Planet X, took place because of channeled information. A psychic received the coordinates through which Planet X was first spotted, in a telepathic communication with the entities we know as the Grays. Out of all the places available in our vast night sky, she picked the one that held a most unusual object.
Third, we seem to be talking about the same thing, following the same trail in many ways, coming up with the same information and dealing with the same ancient legends. I have always counted those parallels as evidence that this is not entirely fantasy, because if it were fantasy different people would be coming up with different stories. We are not. We are finding the same information no matter what method we use to seek it, whether by pure research or through something as unlikely as Dreaming.
There are specific reasons why the Planet X concept is very fitting in regards to what I have been talking about. I've told a lot of stories about my experiences as Heyoka Shaman, and what I'm about to tell you now is something I have told before, although I don't recall whether I've told it here or not. But I haven't really told all of it, ever, and there are more things which relate to this that I have not said. Because I have never wanted to place myself in the category of prophet, I have not told these things in detail.
The Elders have been angry with me about that at times, even though I explained that no one would listen to me and it would likely screw up my life to no purpose even if people did. They have insisted that it is my duty as a shaman to tell others what I have seen. Even if no listens, it is still my task. I guess that now it is time. This is what happened to me in the early days after my vision quest. This is what I saw in my Dreaming years before I knew of Stalking Wolf and his Red Sky prophecy; years before I encountered the hummingbird or butterfly or heard of the Legend of the Rainbow; and more than ten years before I heard of Planet X, the dwarf star with the red corona.
My vision quest was the most unusual experience of my life, and even now with all the backlog of strange experiences I have accumulated since then, it is still the most unusual experience I have ever had. It was something I could not ignore, but if it had occurred alone, the only event of that kind in my life, I would soon have set it aside as remarkable but inconsequential. I was on my way to doing that the day I came home from vision quest. In fact, I had already set aside much of what transpired there, forgotten the bulk of the experience. It was partly a quest to understand what happened and to recover my lost experience that led me magically to find certain people and tell them my story. When I did that, in the way a shaman like me must act, as a messenger of sorts, my complete memories came flooding back. And of course, no one believed what I said, Ha! Doing all that took months and I would likely have not tried if my life had not suddenly been completely changed. I got my first taste of what it is like to be Heyoka, the first night after my return from vision quest. I got my Dreams back.
I went to sleep that first night thinking what a strange night I had had the night before, and how sad that it was unreal and would never happen again. Then without effort I found myself in a Dream, fully aware and fully in command of my faculties, in all respects in as real a situation as I have ever found myself in, in what we know as physical terms. I was physical, yet I was somewhere impossible.
I was in the passenger compartment of a Huey helicopter, one of two that were flying high over a pleasantly green countryside laid out in rectangular patterns of tended fields and preserved forests. There was very little evidence of habitation, few roads and fewer houses, I knew immediately it was the Earth I knew and it occurred to me immediately that I was in a Dream. But I was also immediately impressed with the reality of this place, as I sat in the open bay of the chopper with the cold wind roaring around me. Several others were with me there, one of them a modern Indian fellow a little older than me, with short cropped grey hair. My Dreaming brother, Greyhair, of course. In the other helicopter flying alongside us were other members of my Dreaming family, including the woman who accepted me as a young warrior when I was twelve and looking for a purpose and for teachers. The noise of the wind and the throb of the chopper blades made conversation impossible, but Greyhair motioned that I should look ahead, and when I leaned a bit out the side I saw where we were going. When he saw the expression on my face, Greyhair grinned and laughed. I was maybe a little scared and surprised, Ha!
Ahead were several giant skycrapers, easily twice the height of our flight level. They looked like they were straight out of a scifi novel, maybe a mile across at the base and several miles high, tapering to points like huge brown crystals. I've seen similar things since then, on other worlds, but there is nothing like them here. I was very impressed, and intrigued, because around them were no cities, only farmland and forest, well tended and thriving. Those buildings were the cities, the cities were contained within them.
We began climbing steeply, up and up and up until we were so high the chopper blades were clawing at the thin air, and we landed momentarily on the roof of one building while the second helicopter hovered nearby. Greyhair signaled that I was cleared to disembark, so I stepped out and turned toward him immediately, silently. He became very serious, smiled thinly at me for a second while he looked me in the eye, then said Good Luck in words I could not hear over the engine noise. Then they flew away, peeling off on a slanting course like birds banking on a shore breeze.
I knew what my job was. I went to the very peak of the building, a squarish platform about four feet in diameter in which was welded a steel ring. There was nothing dreamlike or symbolic about it, it was about eight inches across and made of stock that was about two inches in diameter, joined solidly to the stout girders of the steel building. Swinging wildly above it was a hook like is used on large crane, with a heavy steel ballast ball above it. I looked up and the cable reached almost to the limit of my vision, maybe even out into space to the stars. At the very end of it I saw a little silvery star. My job was to connect the hook to the ring, very simple in theory. But the length of the cable was so great and the forces in between me and that silver star so wild and unpredictable that this end of the cable was snapping that steel hook about with deadly force. I had to stand up, unsupported in the gusts of wind that battered me, and somehow be the guiding power that joined these two together, that star and this world.
I wasn't even sure I could stand up, my knees were shaking so bad. But I did, because I knew no one else would do this. That was why I was chosen, I suppose, I was fool enough to try. It was quite an experience, the hook was heavier than me by a long shot and there was no way I could muscle it into place. To accomplish this I had to work in harmony with that lethal movement, guide rather than control. I had to dance with it, and I did. I'm not quite sure how it happened, but in a few moments I snapped the hook into the ring and immediately sank down onto hands and knees and crawled carefully back to the balcony that surrounded the peak of the building.
Then the choppers came back, and my Dreaming family, along with a detachment of technicians in white suits who took over the contact effort from there, disembarked onto the rooftop to continue the operation. My part was over, so I sneaked away to a quiet alcove yet unfinished and sat back in the comforting nook above a solid steel girder that was still exposed to the sky. How nice, I thought to myself. A safe place to rest, I think I will close my eyes and relax for a bit. So I leaned back with a satisfied smile and shut my eyes.
Everything around me suddenly changed. If I hadn't had my hands loosely holding onto the girder already I'd have fallen. Gravity was inverted and there was a red storm raging around me like a dry hurricane of swirling red dust and a strange reddish gloom shining through it. I was hanging onto the girder, swinging from it as though hanging from a trapeze, with my feet aimed at the stars somewhere above me. Sheets of steel were ripping loose and falling past me into the sky, and the building itself was shaking and groaning, straining to free itself from its foundation.
I opened my eyes and things were the same as they had been. Quiet and peaceful, a warm sunny day and my job already done. I told myself, calm down. You've just done a scary thing and this was just a way of dealing with the fear you set aside. Just relax, it wasn't real. And after a bit I did relax. I told myself I was being silly, I should just lie back and nap for a bit until they came to take me home. So I laid back again, with a good grip on the girder beneath me just for security, and I closed my eyes.
I was back in the red storm, falling upward, hanging onto the building with a desperate and temporary grip. I knew I couldn't do this for long and the world was disintegrating around me, I could glimpse objects flashing past me into the sky, things that should have been resting on the ground now zipping heavenward like meteors. My fingers began to slip and as the wind roared and I tried to breathe that red dust it carried, I opened my eyes. And again, I was sitting on the rooftop on a pleasant and peaceful sunny day. I decided there was only one thing to do, keep my eyes open.
I suppose I must have looked odd, sitting there with a death grip on the girder beneath me, with my eyes permanently wide open, because my Dreaming Mother came to sit beside me and asked me in a voice that was warily concerned for my sanity, Are you OK? I told her, sure, I'm fine. I've just decided to never close my eyes again.
That startled her, she was sure I'd lost my mind and she tried to calm me down and talk me out of that strange decision. I was against it, and she tried to use logic on me, by asking me why I was doing this silly thing. It's simple, I told her. When I close my eyes the world is red and gravity is upside down, so I'm not going to close my eyes again.
And then, of course, she was really concerned for my health and started to treat me as though I had flipped out. I told her, no, really, I'm OK. Here, sit with me for a minute--I patted the girder beside me--and I will show you what I mean. I took one of her hands firmly in one of mine, got a good grip on the steel I beam underneath us with the other, and with her watching me with an amused and skeptical expression I closed my eyes.
The red storm swirled around us like tornadoes in a hurricane. We began to fall into its maw, and she screamed as she stopped short at the end of my arm, both of us swinging from the one hold I had on that I beam. She didn't stop screaming, she screamed with every breath and with gusto and dedication. Sheets of metal were ripping off the roof around us and flashing away into the red gloom like guillotine blades. The skeleton of the building was groaning and popping as we twisted with it in the wind. I managed to swing a leg up and hooked it over the beam, but I knew there was no way I could hold on, and as I strained to pull her up with me I felt my fingers coming loose from the girder and I knew we were doomed.
I opened my eyes and I was sitting up in bed in the middle of a quiet Spring night soaked in a cold sweat and with my heart pounding two beats short of a heart attack. I sat there for a long time, shaking and swearing to myself, I will never close my eyes again. But of course I did, and when I did I dreamed again. That was my first night as Heyoka, and I've had many nights like that since, more often than I can ever recall, more stories than I can ever tell, yet what happened that night was perhaps the most important. I had been given a message, short and simple, in a way I could never forget.
The Red Storm is coming.
I have more to say about this, but the one thing I would like to point out now is that a close hit by an asteroid won't accomplish what I experienced in my Dream that night, nor will bad weather or global warming or nuclear war or anything with which we have some experience. But, a red star passing, strong enough to change the orbits of planets and stop their rotation, that really could accomplish what I saw in my Dream. My dreams, however strange, have shown themselves to hold information that is very often literal, not symbolic at all. This is the best answer to the puzzle of that Dream, so far. I'll be very relieved to see it proven wrong, as it should be if this Planet X scenario is untrue. Within a few months, if Planet X really is on the way, we will have proof.
