regarding all that i'm not sure what is rumour and what isn't, the whole subject is to be approached with caution, but i have read a letter by the man in question announcing his retirement from his quest. that could also be phoney. art bell doesn't even host his own shows much any more and i don't know his rep at all, there was a lot on his site about disinfo being spread about him. i was just using his site as a way to other info. i was looking in particular for the crop circle beer website, which may be offline now. some little brewery bought a load of crop circle grain, made a beer from it, and marketed it with this slogan, "crop circle beer--the truth is in here."
with my own experiences there are always other possible explanations, over time though the majority of the evidence is slanted toward alien contact or something posing as alien contact. i'll believe when they land in the front yard with a case of crop circle beer, that'll completely convince me.
