There is a Dzogchen perspective of "cutting through"....penetrating all the varying forms of the perception of "reality" to see the pervasive formless truth lying beneath. To me, its not to dispense altogether with the beautiful array of form dancing all around in my experience. But cutting through to that emptiness and ever present clear light that traverses the emptiness (awareness) brings out the true beauty and awe inherent in form.....without the stupefying ignorance inherent in the clinging to the notion of formed reality as being all there is....being lost in the illusion.
