My experience with nurses suggests that most of them are overworked and underpaid middle aged women who look like they chain smoke and hate themselves for chain smoking because they're literally nurses and should know better, but it's like the one small escape they have from their long work days and home lives where they're too tired to do anything but eat dinner and watch television then sleep, then wake up and do it again... and again... their one little walk on the dark side.
Pathetic. Weak.
My nurses are gifted healers. They are powerful and strong willed. They are amazing and capable, and they love themselves and the world around them. Sometimes its what you give which is what you get. You gotta look up to the world and see the glories of people, not down your nose at them.
Did they fix you?
Then what's the big deal?
Have you ever considered going to nursing school? Would you like to be in their shoes?
Either way, you kind of have to admit though... the work they do is hard and the hospitals could probably afford to pay them more, right?
