It would be impossible for a rock to hit you in the head and then for you to claim you were on a different level of reality and not perceiving it, and therefore it did not hit you.  There is a bedrock reality here.  If you see people around, they might hurt you.

I would bet $1000 he eats more or less the same food we do, with the same basic proteins, fats, and carbohydrates.  Withholding that food would be violence.  He might not "understand", but he would die like anyone else.

Not that I want to prove it, but I think we can agree the experiment has been tried and it works.
