Why would I want to know the truth, instead of just accepting that life is a series of meaningless ahistorical images with no context, like how a child would see the world if they never learned language but were locked into a closet with an iphone? I don't know. Never really thought about it. It always just seems like the right thing to do at the time.
If I told you the spirits my head compel me to, and that I literally can't stop, is that a better answer?
