Definitely, tons to think about. For me, I always enjoy reminding myself that as good as I am--I'm only as good as my team. The individuals who work together to help to keep me well informed. Life is beautiful when you realize that the only reason you're as good as you are is due to the many supportive and encouraging hands. I'm only as good as I am due to the individuals who've invested in me. I didn't merely arrive as an awesome individual. I had to become awesome. It required people to invest in me and believe in my success. It also required me to use those experiences to my benefit and then release that energy back.
These days I invest in others the way my mentors invested in me (and they still do, on occasion). Once we stop living for ourselves, we either plant the human spirit or plant trees. Teachers and arborists invest in the future, lining things up for success well beyond our own time on this planet. Our contribution to the world is a future worth living for.
