What comes to mind is the Desiderata (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Desiderata), especially the lines:
You are a child of the universe,
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
...which, one must admit, is pretty sappy...however, it allowed for the creation of the quite funny satire, the Deteriorata (http://www.novasio.com/deteriorata.htm), and this version of the sap:
You are a fluke of the universe; you have no right to be here, & whether you can hear it or not, the universe is laughing behind your back.
