That's just disgusting.  Did you at least attempt to unclog it?  I've been in a similar situation at a hotel, where the room didn't have a plunger and the walk to the main building was shamefully far.  I left that clogged toilet for the maid because OMG IF THE HOTEL DOESN'T EVEN PROVIDE ME THE MEANS TO HELP THEM, THEN F*CK THEM!  

I felt sorry for the maid, but sorry not sorry.... if they make it inconvenient for me to be a decent human being, I'm sure as hell not going out of my way to be one.
