Rosy's lost tip reminds me of a bee sting.  When some bees sting, they die.  In energetic terms, if a man loses his tip in a female, he loses his energetic center.  He become dull.  In damaging the female he also damages himself.  This may not happen with every partner either, Rosy may be speaking of select partners... and this may only be applicable to him.
