What about the peeps who are so good at their marketable talents that they became priceless? One doesn't just put a price tag on world domination. I think people undertake that effort purely on principle.
For the rest of world, definitely one should charge. If Sorcery can make money with a Twitter fanbase and do a little monthly or quarterly newsletter, that sounds like a lot of fun. I will def read it. Count on it. I may even donate $10 for the hardworking souls pouring their talent into its creation.
