hi.
thanks for replying.
the reason im in this forum is because I need someone who lives in the same world as me, which is the world of someone who knows CC's books and is striving to become a warrior.
i need someone to give me a push. i need a push. someone to talk to, to make a commitment with.
anyone volunteers?

I apologize in advance if this seems flippant, but your choice of words was interesting, given some interactions with others in dreaming recently, confirmed by a silly show i watched. Perhaps there is someone who can give you a push, but it seems, a big part of this path, is a somewhat lonely one, as in no one can do it for each other. That said, it seems a bit of intent, and focus to move forward, somehow, keeps us moving forward, perhaps out of pure momentum. a yes, so the silly thing i just got done watching, moments before i opened the main page of the site.

it is important to surround yourself, your world, with people who can hold a similar vision of reality. that in itself is a push and you do well to look for it .
I have connected with some people orbiting this place on this level now and again, and I am grateful for it. Hope you find what you are looking for

Agreed. But beware of people who are overly zealous, religious, or kinda just creepy. They are people who are mainly just lonely 'cracked gaurds' who are off the path. The real people are the ones who have an inexplicable warmth peppered with humor.

agreed, also watch out for people who tell you THEY can help you with their infinite wisdom and power. Beleiving in such people may be giving YOUR power away!!!

thank you for your insights.
the reason I want to surround myself with people who share the same world view, as watergaze eloquently put it, is because of a simple reason. i met some months ago on the internet someone who was also in the path of the warrior and one only conversation with him was enough to give me a good push, it was enough to somehow wake me up a bit more and make me pratice recapitulation, something I, strangely enough, didnt even try.
we human beings are weird creatures and i find that somehow even though we have read lots of things on the books we are able to kind of act as if we didnt read anything at all. to me, to talk a bit, just a bit with someone on the same path, i find it wakes me up a bit. at least it did so one time and im hoping it will have the same results if i do it again.
the problem is that that person i met hasnt been online for months, and I, being a weird creature, perhaps need a person to whom report back to about my doings and not-doings.

I am glad to know that newer people are still getting into this stuff.
The wave immediately post-castaneda is in a slump, maybe these are signs that the new wave is ready to get going.

lol. There are no warriors here. You guys are as blind as bats!

You guys are like those phantoms trying to tell us what is out there and where to go, how to get there.

Pathetic.

You guys don't even understand the teachings. Or you ignore them , shove 'em away so you can push your stinky food around.

gross
